Four patriotic themed lunches for the Glorious Fourth.
You all know how much I love to make themed lunchboxes for different holidays, like Valentine’s Day Lunchboxes and Halloween Lunches. The one holiday I’ve rarely done is the Fourth of July, because the kids aren’t in school then.
But that’s no reason not to make a special lunchbox! Maybe your kids need a packed lunch for summer camp, or maybe you’d like a festive lunch to brighten up your workday in the run-up to the Fourth of July weekend. Or maybe it’s just for fun!
Conveniently, a lot of these can be made with leftovers from my 4th of July Snack Board. So you can easily keep the fun going even when the holiday is over. Here the lunchboxes we used for these lunches!
So this year, I’m debuting four 4th of July Lunchbox Ideas:
- A mini version of my Easy Taco Salad Flag, accompanied by chips and salsa.
- Yummy Red White & Blue Chocolate Covered Strawberries with star cut cheese, pretzels, and a mix of dried fruit and nuts.
- My Cheddar Ranch Hotdog Nuggets with roasted mini corn on the cob, cheese stars, and red, white, and blue M&Ms.
- Pasta salad kabobs with red cherries, blueberries, white chocolate-covered pretzels, and a simple watermelon, feta and mint salad.
